English I is the first English class students will take at Valdez High School. This year we will be covering a number of books and short stories, including (but not limited to) The Hunger Games, "The Lottery", The Odyssey, To Kill a Mockingbird, "The Most Dangerous Game", and Romeo and Juliet.
